• Help create our advocacy stragegy--both for legislative and
client self-advocacy
• Research 'Poverty Trainings': compile online resources
& curricula
• Become our Volunteer Coordinator
• Newsletter Guru: write, recruit, layout--your pick!
• Set up volunteer form (wufoo or other) for our site
• Build an automatic email system for sending monthly tips
• Web Site Editor: revamp, rewrite, make it consistent
• Marketing Talent: promotes trainings & the Network

print this information. Volunteer commitments range from one to six hours
per month.
Teams are groups that meet to create programs, craft documents
& plans, and make decisions and carry out activities. Currently, the
Network committees are:
Membership & Networking: Research and outreach
to potential members and develop benefits. Create networking events and
awards for human services professionals.
Marketing: Establish basic Network information pieces
& develop printed and web materials; participate in data collection
and publication of findings.
Training: Implements annual schedule of
training and oversees certification including professional guidelines and
standards and curriculum or professional development.
***The Board of Directors meets monthly to make decisions regarding
